Notocactus laetivirens Heliconia separate each back-bulb and replant(aka: Parodia muricata) Notocactus laetivirens, which hails from southern Brazil, is yet another superbly adaptable garden specimen from that region. This species forms large green balls to 3" tall x 8" wide, topped, starting for us in late May with dense clusters of stunning yellow flowers. Good drainage is the key to success in cold winter climates.
